WILLIAM BROWN

William Bradley Brown, age 80, of Hutch, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on April 20, 1941 to the late Lelve and Emma Barnett Brown.

William was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and feeding birds and squirrels. He was a truck driver for many years which he enjoyed, as well as getting to spend time with his family.

He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his ability to never meet a stranger, and that he was always willing to help others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Dan Brown, grandson Joshua Epperson, brothers Roby Brown and Vernon Brown, and sisters Doodler, Lorraine, Barbara, Dolly, Bonnie and Betty.

Left to cherish his memory, loving and devoted wife of 60 years Shirley Brown, children Diana Hensley and husband Carl, David Brown and wife Nikki, and Dawn Longworth and husband Steve, daughter- in-law Sedelia Brown, grandchildren Benjamin, Anna, Amber, Willie Mo, Kelsey, Amanda, Jeremy, and Brandy, great-grandchildren Wyatt, Emma, Landon “His #1 Buddy”, Gabby, Reagen, Paislee, Addi, Hudson, Ashley, Daviena, John, Lilly, CJ, and Harlow, brother Billy Brown, sisters Donna and Pamela, as well as a host of many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the ICU Staff at U.T. Medical Center, Amedysis Home Health Care of Middlesboro, his favorite physician Dr. Vora, and EMT Jeremy Killion.

Receiving of friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Smith officiating. Music to be provided by Arbie Fultz, Tina Russell, and Brenda Longworth.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Brown Family Cemetery in the Hutch community. Family and friends are welcome to meet at Green Hills Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. to follow in procession.
