William Henry “Bill” Reeves, age 80, a resident of Middlesboro, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Middlesboro ARH.
Bill was born January 21, 1945 in Frakes, Kentucky to the late Rev. Elmer and Kizzie Hatfield Reeves. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded by his loving son Luther Reeves, brother Chestel Reeves and sister Eula Jean Slife.
Bill was saved and baptized at an early age in the Freewill Baptist Church. He was always willing to help anyone and he had free giving heart. Bill enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, working on cars or working in a garden, he loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Margie Hubbard Reeves, daughter Judy Brock and husband Toby, grandchildren Shanay Zimmerman and husband DJ, Clarissa Hubbard and husband Eric, Micah Reeves and Luther Reeves Jr., great-grandchild Byron Zimmerman, brothers Tony Reeves and wife Sharon and their children James and Roger Reeves and grandchild Austin, Troy Reeves and his children Cassie and Christopher, sister-in-law Juanita York, aunt Barbara Ann Partin, special uncles Clyde Dixon, Jack Dixon and Clifford Reeves, cousins Deanna Reeves, Tammy Reeves, Denver Reeves, and Darrell Reeves, special family member Sarah Powers, special friends Johnny and Tish Bishop, John Barton, Tyrone Barton, Shirt Hurst, Homer Sparks and Dr. Patel , who the family would like to give a special thanks too, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jackson, Rev. Phillip Jackson and Mr. David Jackson Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tony Reeves, DJ Zimmerman, Shird Hurst, Toby Brock, David Jackson Jr.
