WILLIAM TAYLOR

William C. Taylor, age 81, of New Tazewell, TN passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN.

He was born July 8, 1940 to the late Sylverster Taylor and Alma Baker.  He was a family man who loved all of his family with all of his heart.  He loved the Lord and loved gospel and bluegrass music.  He also enjoyed spending time on his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  In addition to his parents  he was preceded in death by his father and mother in law John and Mary Lee Hunley.

He is survived by his loving wife Marsha Taylor, daughters Debbie Hanka, Rebecca True, brothers & sisters Kaye Baker, David Taylor, Bruce Baker, Larry & Gail Hunley, Doris McDonald, Laura & Joel Taylor, Rebecca True and John Hunley Jr. & Diane, Grandchildren Kevin & Krissy Hanka, great-grandchildren Mary Jaward, Andrew Hunley and Chelsy True, Special Aunt and Uncle Carroll and Media Gibbons and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Gibbons presiding.  Music will be provided by Rebecca and Hannah Gibbons.

Interment will follow in the Cubbage Cemetery in Miracle, KY.
