YUVONNE CUPP

Yuvonne Sue Cupp, age 67, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Norton Community Hospital in Wise, Virginia.

She was born February 26, 1956 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Billy and Lula Jones Cupp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Cleda Harp, Hope Harp, Frieda Harp, Diane Reinhardt and Betty Jean Gaw, and brother Johnny Clay Cupp.

Yuvonne was a loving Mother and Grandmother, sacrificing her life and devoting her time to making sure the needs of her children and grandchildren were always met. She proudly raised her three grandchildren and cherished nothing more than providing for and loving them. Aside from taking care of her family, Yuvonne loved the Lord, and she also had a great love for any and all things the color purple. As of recently, Yuvonne had moved to Wise, Virginia with her grandson and was living her happiest and best life - constantly being spoiled and cared for. Her love and the many sacrifices she made for her family will forever be remembered.

Left to cherish her memory, son Carl Degener, daughters Crystal Degener, Sarah Kilgore and husband Scott, grandchildren Karla Degener, Devona Degener, Anika Degener, Matthew Degener, and John John Degener, sisters Aleen Collins and husband John, Louise Cupp, brother Billy Cupp and wife Mary, sister-in-law Becky Gail Cupp, 2 great-grandsons, as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her so dearly.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ricky Braden officiating. Music will be provided by Ricky and Maria Braden.
